Runaways File 1: Sky (pt 1) Darkness. That’s the first thing I remember from that day. Darkness. A loud, ringing noise piercing my ears. A hideous smell of smoke. Then, my sight began to return. Blurry, unfocused, all I could see was rubbles. There wasn’t a single part of my body that wasn’t hurting. Still, with great effort, I remembered getting up, despite every fiber of my being screaming in pain. My legs shook, my arms were heavy and my breathing was harsh.
